Coach Paul Warloski
Paul has been riding and racing bikes and running for over 40 years.
Before starting Simple Endurance Coaching, he was a middle school English teacher for 23 years. And before that, he was a writer and reporter out of college.
Now, Paul bring the lessons and experiences of his life to clients as a coach for everyday athletes.
His training focuses on not just helping people get stronger, fitter, and healthier, but helping them move more comfortably and do hard things!
He supports clients to learn to value the process of training and goal setting to reach their endurance goals, lessons that can bring joy and health for the rest of their lives.
Paul is a USA Cycling Advanced Certified Coach Level 3 and Training Peaks Level 2 cycling coach, an RRCA (Road Runners Club of America) certified coach, an RYT-200 certified yoga instructor, and a NCCA-certified personal trainer.
Coach Anthony James
Anthony has been doing endurance events since the mid-1990s.Â
He raced the Wisconsin Off-Road Series (WORS) competitively back in the mid through late 90’s and he occasionally joined a Wisconsin Endurance Mountain Bike (WEMS) race.Â
He has done many half and full Ironmans in the late ’90s through early 2000s.Â
After duathlon and triathlons, he transitioned to half-marathons, marathons, and ultra-marathons, including the Ice Age 50, 100, Glacial 50, Big Horn 50, and 100. He traveled all over the country to run as many as he could to fit into vacations.
After Anthony and his wife had two girls, he took a break from all competition for a couple of years. He raced cyclocross, and then back mountain biking racing in the National Ultra Endurance Series for a few years. Anthony also completed the Unbound gravel race three times, Gravel Worlds in Nebraska, and the Bear 100 as well as ultra-bike pack racin.Â
Now, he fits in his racing early in the season and focuses on coaching kids in the Wisconsin High School Cycling League (NICA) and is the league’s head photographer. He is a certified NICA coach.Â
Coach Nicole Ford
Nicole has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years! She got her start at UW-Green Bay teaching group exercise classes. She is a Personal Trainer and the Kids’ Club House and Aquatics Team Lead at the WAC.
Nicole has been racing since 2006. Her race career has been an adventure, from competitive sprint distance to Ironman in 2011 and marathons to ultras. Her most recent achievement is completing Kettle 100km and taking third in her age group!
She also loves going off the grid! She backpacked Rim to Rim Grand Canyon and next is Half Dome!
When Nicole isn’t playing in the dirt, she is spending quality time with her dog Buddy! She also loves spending time with family and friends, reading, playing games and puzzles… and an occasional bourbon.
Nicole is a certified personal trainer.
