RECOVERY YOGA

During periods of intense training, the last thing we should do is add training stress with a hot yoga class, especially on a rest day.

However, Recovery Yoga on Mondays offers runners and cyclists a chance to speed recovery by calming your parasympathetic nervous system.

SLOW YOGA FLOW

yoga

This class focuses on breath work, building strength through holding poses a little longer than usual, and joint movement to build mobility.

The classes help beginners and those who have practiced some yoga to build strength, mobility, and core stability.

YOGA AT THE WHEEL

We use strength training to help you get stronger hips and core, build mobility and balance, and develop confidence as you reshape your body.

Yoga at the Wheel is a special class for cyclists that we hold at the Bay View Wheel and Sprocket on Tuesday at 10 am.

We’ll work specifically on hip and shoulder joint strength and mobility for cyclists and runners – and normal people too.

Yoga For Cyclists and Runners

Recovery Yoga. Monday around 7:30 pm.

Runners and cyclists need recovery time after a long weekend of training and/or racing.

During periods of intense training, the last thing we should do is add training stress with a hot yoga class, especially on a rest day.

However, Recovery Yoga on Mondays offers runners and cyclists a chance to speed recovery by calming your parasympathetic nervous system.

Visit my Facebook page around 7:30 on Monday evenings for Recovery Yoga. I’ll start when I get home from high school mountain bike team practice.

Yoga with Simple is a Little Different

I teach in the Milwaukee area at Simple Training at 5438 S. 108th St, Hales Corners, Wisconsin.

We offer classes designed specifically to help mobility, joint strength, and core stability for cyclists and runners.

We hold poses a little longer than you may be used to, and we practice breathing through our nose during all movement.

Yoga beginners are welcome and encouraged.

I offer modifications to all poses to make sure everyone can get in a pose that works.

At Simple Training, we do yoga that is accessible, simple, and purposeful.

Non-cyclists and runners are also welcome any time.
