Build strength with personal training in the Milwaukee area

We focus on building functional strength through push and pull exercises, squats, and hip hinges.

Functional strength means you are strong enough to move through your life with more ease and more comfort.

Research suggests that lifting heavier loads builds strength more efficiently than lighter loads.

That said, most of us don?t have the goal of being a body-builder or competition lifter.

So we don?t train like that.

Personal training for beginners means a lot of instruction on good form, progressive overload, and recovery.

Also, we work with endurance athletes like cyclists and runners to improve strength, endurance, and mobility with Simple Endurance Coaching.

Unstable loads build joint strength and core stability

Most of the exercises we do use ?unstable? loads to force your muscles to adapt more fully and your core to engage.

For example, we might use a single dumbbell to do chest presses to build the usual tension in our chest muscles, but the single dumbbell also forces our core to keep our torso stable.

Our personal training in the Milwaukee area supports people as they achieve their fitness goals.

When we do personal training for beginners, we tend to keep exercises simple so that people learn good movement patterns.

We use dumbbells, kettlebells, bands, suspension straps like TRX, and sometimes barbells.

Our focus is on lifting heavy things to build maximum strength.
